Flooring for Brevard County homes
Chosen for how you live
Barrier island homes
On Merritt Island, Cocoa Beach and Satellite Beach, salt air and sand are constant. Porcelain tile and waterproof vinyl plank stand up to both and rinse clean.
Beachside condos
Oceanfront condo buildings often have rules on floor noise. Vinyl plank with an attached pad and a published sound rating helps you meet them.
Growing Palm Bay and West Melbourne
Many newer homes on the mainland sit on concrete slabs. We check flatness and moisture first, so the preparation is on your estimate.

What floor suits a coastal home?
Waterproof SPC or porcelain tile. Both handle sand, water and humidity and are easy to clean.

It can. Brevard's highest-risk coastal zones are mostly on the barrier island, and new FEMA maps have changed some zones there and on Merritt Island. Floors that water doesn't harm, such as porcelain tile and SPC, recover better than wood-based floors. Check your insurer's rules too.
